note : la Ferrari é assente, vince ancora una Cooper ( sarà l’ultima vittoria della squadra inglese e del motore Maserati), ma sorprende anche il privatissimo Love (rhodesiano) che con una Cooper Climax 4 cilindri rimane in testa per per alcuni giri e non vince solo perchè deve fermarsi a rifornire a sette giri dalla fine. Per l’ultima volta il plurivittorioso ( con Cooper, Lotus e Brabham) motore Climax coglie un risultato di prestigio. L’avvento della nuova formula lo cancellerà dalla Formula 1.
